*just-joking was born and educated in the Phillipines and is currently living in Singapore. She has also lived with her family in Amstelveen, Holland; Tokyo, Japan; Sydney, Australia; and Chennai, India.

Her education in art is not very broad, she took less than a year of courses while in Australia, therefore she is more of a self-taught artist than anything else. Although, having some instictive natual knack for art (on her father's side) does help a lot.

Just-joking prefers acrylic and oil paints, still she does create in watercolor, pastels and sketches in pencil. However, being at deviantArt, she has been encouraged to concentrate on her painting again. She says dA is " A very informative, useful and friendly site." In addition, he joined the SininGapor Group, a newly established group of Filipino artists living in Singapore. They had their first big exhibition last Auguest, the 10th through the 24th, in Singapore.
